As I write this tons of people are flying past me at the Houston airport. The only place I can find power is in a jog in the concourse B hallway and I have almost been run over by a cart twice. Mexico was a great time spent with Jaime. I’m going to miss the Saltillo weather. This week we are finishing up the tracking and will hopefully start on the vocals by early next week. Tomorrow, Dave Ervin is coming over to the yellow house to play some keys. Should be smokin. Then Chad B. will drop by to lay down some serious guitar tracks. After that, I’ll just need to finish up my guitar parts and add any loops / beats / etc. sounds. Almost forgot, Aaron Conner, newly found Cello player, will be dropping by to record some cello on a few songs. Busy week coming up. Along with recording I will be leading at the Grove on Sunday and playing poker with the pals at our annual lake cabin event. I just downloaded Texas Hold ‘Em for the iPhone, man it is sweet. Hopefully that will pay off at this weekends event. I’ll check in Tuesday. Peace.
